Local Roadway Safety Plan

The City of Dublin’s Local Roadway Safety Plan (LRSP) uses historical collision data and an understanding of local context to assess existing roadway safety conditions in Dublin, identify areas for improvement, and provide recommended actions with an implementation plan. Ultimately, the LRSP creates a data-driven decision-making framework to reduce the number of fatal and severe injury collisions on local roadways. The LRSP recommends site-specific as well as systemic safety improvements that can be applied citywide.
The City Council of the City of Dublin adopted the  LRSP on January 10, 2023. The development of LRSP was funded by State funds.

Traffic Signal – Reflective Borders

In early March 2025, the City will begin installing yellow, retroreflective borders on traffic signal lights at several intersections.  To minimize traffic disruption, the installation will occur at night.  The first intersections to have the borders installed were identified in the Local Roadway Safety Plan.  The retroreflective borders improve traffic signal visibility both at night and during the day.
