Requirements & FeesAll entities and persons doing business in the incorporated area of the City of Dublin (including subcontractors) are required to have a current business license. For business license purposes, the year begins October 1 and ends September 30.
Lowest Business License Fee in the Tri-Valley AreaThe City of Dublin has the lowest fee in the Tri-Valley area for a business license. The City only charges the amount necessary to recover its regulatory costs instead of basing its fee on the amount of gross revenue generated or staff employed by a business, as many other cities do, which often results in a substantially higher fee.
License RenewalYou are now able to renew your License online. Please ensure that you have your renewal invoice for reference or you can call the Finance Department at 925-833-6640.
