Business Licenses
Requirements & Fees
All entities and persons doing business in the incorporated area of the City of Dublin (including subcontractors) are required to have a current business license. Most businesses (the primary exception being for nonprofit organizations) pay a registration fee each year for their business license in Dublin. For business license purposes, the year begins October 1 and ends September 30.Lowest Business License Fee in the Tri-Valley Area
The City of Dublin has the lowest fee in the Tri-Valley area for a business license. The City only charges the amount necessary to recover its regulatory costs instead of basing its fee on the amount of gross revenue generated or staff employed by a business, as many other cities do, which often results in a substantially higher fee.License Renewal
