Are you considering becoming a homeowner? Do you want to know what type of loan products are available to make you eligible to become a homeowner? Buying a home is a significant milestone in one's life and education is the key to determine if you are ready to be a homeowner. ECHO Housing is offering a First-Time Homebuyer Education workshop to learn more about the home buying process. In addition, ECHO Housing is offering free first-time homebuyer counseling including financial counseling and credit counseling to prepare you in purchasing your first home.  

More Homebuyer Education Classes

Below Market Rate applicants must complete a HUD-approved, 8-hour first-time homebuyer education course. The date on the completion certificate for the class must be within six months of the date of application for a BMR Unit. The following agencies offer a HUD approved course. Other agencies may qualify if they meet the HUD-approved eight-hour homebuyer education course.
