Zoning Administrator Responsibilities

The Community Development Director or designee serves as the Zoning Administrator.  The duties and powers of the Zoning Administrator are identified in Section 8.128.040 of the Dublin Zoning Ordinance and include the power to consider, approve or deny applications for Conditional Use Permits, Variances, and any other matters specifically provided by the Municipal Code.

Meetings

Zoning Administrator meetings are called as necessary.  Please review the agenda or call the Planning Division at 925-833-6610 to confirm the meeting date, time, and location.

Meeting Procedure:

  • The Dublin Zoning Administrator will hold in person meetings located at Civic Center first floor in the CDD conference room.   

Speaker Slips

Members of the public who wish to address the Zoning Administrator will need to complete a speaker slip, which will be available on the day of the meeting.  

  • The speaker will be announced in the meeting when it is his/her time to speak to the Zoning Administrator.  The speaker will then have three minutes to provide comments.
