2. Thank you for your interest in sponsoring a military banner to honor a local veteran or active duty member of the U.S. Armed Forces. The banners will be displayed along Dougherty Road between Memorial Day and Veterans Day (May – November 2026).

   To qualify for the Military Banner Program, the following criteria must be met:

   • the Honoree is an active duty member or military veteran (Honorably Discharged) of the United States Armed Forces
   • the Honoree is a current resident of Dublin or has an immediate family member living in the City of Dublin (spouse, parent, sibling, child or grandchild), or
   • the Honoree is a former Dublin resident with a demonstrated long-term, positive impact on the Dublin community (subject to approval by the City of Dublin)

   You must complete the application form and submit the required documents and photograph, and pay the $200 fee by Friday March 27, 2026. You will be invoiced once the required documentation and photographs are received. Applications will be processed in the order received.

    • ONLY IF honoree is a former Dublin resident who made a lasting, positive impact on the Dublin community: A concise summary of their contributions to Dublin (limit one page), and
    • Payment of $200 sponsorship fee (Note: payment is not required until after the application has been approved).
