The City of Dublin invites you to attend African and African Diaspora master dance and drumming workshops on Friday and Saturday, February 3 - 4, followed by the Cheza Nami Ensemble and the Arenas Dance Company, in the spring installation of the "Essence Show." The workshops and show will be held at the Dublin High School Center for Performing Arts and Education (8151 Village Parkway). The production explores the rich musical legacy and cultures across the African Diaspora including Cuba, Brazil, Kenya, Congo and several West African Cultures, Guinea, Burkina Faso, Mali, Senegal, and others.
