The City of Dublin's Municipal Code
imposes limitations on the number and types of animals that may be kept within city limits. Limitations include:
- Residential lots may have no more than two dogs and two cats without an Animal Fancier's Permit, issued by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office
- Keeping of livestock is prohibited
- Certain exotic pets are prohibited
