A public workshop to discuss the City of Dublin's possible acquisition and development of a 12-acre parcel of land along the Iron Horse Trail will be held on Tuesday, June 11, from 7:00 p.m. to approximately 9:00 p.m. at the Dublin Civic Center.
As part of the process for property acquisition the City is developing a master plan for the site for park and open space purposes. The City has hired the landscape architecture firm SWA Group to lead the community input process and for preparation of the master plan. The parcel begins at the San Ramon border and extends just south of Amador Valley Boulevard.
The second public workshop will be held at Dublin Civic Center and SWA Group will present information gathered from the public input process thus far including three conceptual design alternatives.
This is the second of two public workshops scheduled and community input is encouraged. If you are unable to attend the workshop, there will be additional opportunities to provide input between June 12 and 19 on the City’s website at www.dublin.ca.gov under Parks and Community Services / Park Development, as well as at future public meetings.
If you have any questions related to this meeting and the master plan, please contact Rosemary Alex, Parks and Facilities Development Coordinator, at 925-556-4500.
