Join us on Wednesday May 1, or Saturday, May 4, for a free showing of the award-winning documentary, "Bag It." This thought-provoking movie examines the effects of plastic bags and other plastic merchandise on our eco-systems. Americans use 60,000 throw-away plastic bags every five minutes. But where is “away?” Where do the bags and other plastics end up, and at what cost to our environment, marine life and human health? “Bag It” runs 65 minutes and space is first-come, first- served. Showings will be on Wednesday, May 1st, at 7:00 PM, at the Civic Center Regional Meeting Room, and Saturday, May 4th, at 1:30 PM, in the Library Community Room. Join us afterwards for a conversation.
