[ARCHIVED] Delays Expected on Golden Gate Drive on March 22

As the City enters the final phase of pedestrian and streetscape improvements along Golden Gate Drive, residents, commuters, employees and patrons of local businesses will be detoured and re-routed on Friday, March 22 throughout the day due to installation of new asphalt.

Patrons and businesses of the Chabot-Las Positas office building, including Chase Bank will be directed to enter the parking lot through the adjacent retail center (Orchard Supply Hardware) and can access either from St. Patrick Way or Dublin Blvd. Work will commence in front of the office complex during the early morning hours and it is expected to be completed no later than 12 p.m.

BART riders will experience delays throughout the day as they are let through the construction area.

The City and the contractor appreciate continued patience as the streetscape project nears completion. For concerns or questions, please contact the City’s Public Information Office at (925) 833-6650.
