Dublin Police Services invites the community to participate in its annual "Trunk or Treat" event on Saturday, October 25, 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Don Biddle Community Park (6100 Horizon Parkway). This fun, Halloween-inspired event will provide a safe alternative to door-to-door trick or treating. Dressing in Halloween costumes is highly encouraged!
Dublin Police, California Highway Patrol (CHP), Alameda County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) Airport Police, Corrections, Transportation, K-9, Dispatch, UAV (unmanned aircraft vehicle) units, Dublin Rotary, Livermore Valley Transportation Authority (LAVTA), the City of Dublin's maintenance contractors (MCE), and City of Dublin representatives will decorate their vehicles in the spirit of Halloween and provide treats to children of all ages. Food vendors will also be on site, and a family-friendly movie, "The Nightmare Before Christmas," will play on an outdoor screen. Bring blankets and/or low-back chairs to watch the movie.
