The City of Dublin is looking for a motivated high school student who lives in Dublin to serve as the Student Representative on the City’s Parks and Community Services Commission for the 2025-2026 term, from July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026.
The Parks and Community Services Commission is made up of six members appointed by the Mayor and City Council. The Commission generally meets the third Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. The purpose of the Commission is to consider and make recommendations to the City Council and Staff in matters pertaining to recreation services for the community. Commissioners receive $50 for attendance at each meeting. In addition, the Student Representative acts as the liaison to the Youth Advisory Committee and is expected to attend the Youth Advisory Committee meetings, which are generally held on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. at the Dublin Senior Center.
To be eligible for the position, you must be a Dublin resident and have junior or senior standing in high school during the 2025-2026 school year. The application deadline is Friday, March 28, 2025, at 5:00 p.m.
