[ARCHIVED] Dublin Summer Concert Series Returns to Emerald Glen Park Beginning June 6

The eight-week Dublin Summer Concert Series, held on Thursday evenings in the Emerald Glen Park Amphitheater (4201 Central Parkway) during the Dublin Farmers' Market, returns with a wide variety of musical acts beginning Thursday, June 6. The concert series, sponsored by DUBS, a Dublin-based drum shop, will feature:

  • June 6 - Mercy and the Heartbeats - Classics from the '70s, '80s, and '90s 
  • June 13 - Sky Kings - Classic music from The Byrds, The Eagles, Jackson Browne, Steely Dan, Billy Joel, John Mayer, Radio Head, and more.
  • June 20 - Aki Kumar - Vintage Bollywood meets American blues and rock 'n' roll
  • June 27 - The Peelers - A "Top 40" mashups and medleys cover band
  • July 11 - Notorious - Current hits along with classics from the '70s, '80s, '90s, along with Motown, disco, R&B, soul, and classic rock
  • July 18 - The Big Jangle - A Tom Petty tribute band 
  • July 25 - Carnaval - A Santana tribute band
  • August 1 - Wonderbread 5 - Current hits to classics from the '70s, '80s, '90s, and beyond.

The concerts will begin at 6:00 p.m.  Purchase hot food for dinner from vendors at the farmers' market and enjoy a picnic in the park.  Dublin Rotary will also be on hand to sell beer and wine.  

Please note that there will be no farmers' market held on Independence Day, Thursday, July 4.
