[ARCHIVED] Upcoming Opportunity for Dublin Residents to Dispose of Household Hazardous Waste

Do you have household hazardous materials at home that you'd like to be rid of?  Dublin residents may safely dispose of unwanted household toxins on Sunday, May 21, at the Alameda County Fairgrounds.

Free Household Hazardous Waste Event Hosted by StopWaste - Sunday, May 21:

Drop off your household hazardous waste for free at the Alameda County Fairgrounds on Sunday, May 21, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Accepted items include paint, propane tanks, batteries, and cleaners. For a full list of accepted items, and to make an appointment visit www.stopwaste.org/hhw-pleasanton.

If you are unable to make it to the event on May 21, you can visit one of the year-round household hazardous waste facilities in Alameda County.

  • Auto batteries
  • Household batteries
  • Brake and transmission fluids
  • Motor oil
  • Antifreeze
  • Paint, thinners, strippers
  • Wood stains
  • Solvents
  • Pesticides
  • Herbicides
  • Mercury thermometers
  • Fluorescent bulbs
  • Aerosol cans
  • Cleaners
  • Pool chemicals
