In conjunction with Alameda County Fire Department, a group of local high school students will be sponsoring a virtual Personal Emergency Preparedness Workshop on Saturday, January 29, 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. This event is open to the public.
In this workshop, you'll learn how to prepare yourself and your family for any disaster. You'll learn how to minimize potential dangers in the home, what to include in a disaster kit, how to create a communication plan for your family, and how to manage your utilities after an earthquake.
