[ARCHIVED] Looking for a Summer Job? Attend The Wave Job Fair on Saturday, February 5

Are you interested in working at The Wave this summer?  The City of Dublin will be hosting its annual Wave Job Fair on Saturday, February 5, 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at The Wave (4201 Central Parkway, Dublin). 

The Wave will be recruiting for Lifeguards/Swim Instructors, Slide Attendants, and Recreation Aides.  All attendees of the job fair will be able to apply, interview, and receive information on how to become a member of The Wave team.  Any applicant who receives a job offer will also receive the necessary certification, fully paid for by the City of Dublin.  Attendees must be at least 15 years of age to apply.  Schedules are flexible and cater to the availability of employees.  

 Those wishing to apply for the position of Lifeguard/Swim Instructor will need to bring a swimsuit and towel to complete the following swim test:

  • 300-yard swim (12 laps either freestyle or breaststroke)
  • Two-minutes treading water
  • Retrieving a 10-pound brick from the bottom of the seven-foot pool and bringing it back to the wall.

 Starting Pay:

  •  Lifeguard/Swim Instructor - $17.00
  • Slide Attendant - $15.00 
  • Recreation Aide - $16.00
