[ARCHIVED] Help the City Prevent Copper Wire Theft

The City has invested a considerable amount of resources in addressing the theft of copper wire, as the repairs and/or replacement of the copper wire are costly.

Locations where copper wire theft increasingly occurs include parks, arterial streets, collector streets and trails. If you notice any suspicious activity, or witness the theft of copper wire, you are urged to contact the Dublin Police Services dispatch number at (925) 462-1212.

The City appreciates your assistance in helping to prevent copper wire theft from occurring in our community. To report street lights that are not working properly, please submit your request for service using our online request system available on the City’s website at or contact the Public Works Department at (925) 833-6630.
