Starting this month, the Dublin Library will participate in the "Alameda County Reads" literary program. This county-wide event invites residents to read and discuss the same book together through online discussion groups. The first selection for 2021 is Eat Joy, edited by Natalie Eve Garrett. Online library discussion groups are available and residents may also form their own discussion group. All participants will receive a free copy of the book, while supplies last.
Participants will hear about the many other special programs, like a Spice Challenge, story time, a discussion with the Alameda County Community Food Bank, and much more. The finale event, featuring two authors from the book, will be held at the end of March.
