[ARCHIVED] Online Auction for City of Dublin's Adirondack Chair Public Art Project Ends Wednesday

The City of Dublin's temporary public art installation, "A Chair to Remember," features Adirondack chairs hand-painted by local artists. The chairs have been on display throughout Dublin since March. The online auction ends Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.

The 20 chairs are now on display at the Dublin Civic Center.  There are 16 individual chairs, and two additional pairs of chairs, all featuring the theme, "New American Backyard," as seen by the artists.  

To place a bid on your favorite chair, please email: chairauction@dublin.ca.gov.

You must include:

  • The chair title or number that you are bidding on
  • First and last name
  • Phone number and address
  • Bid amount

Bid amounts will be updated and posted online each week at https://dublin.ca.gov/2154/Temporary-Public-Art---Adirondack-Chairs.

All single chair bids will start at $200 with a minimum bid increment of $25.

Bids for a set of two chairs will begin at $400. This includes chairs 10 and 11, Gathering Place, and chairs 13 and 14, Inside the Secret Garden. The minimum bid increment is $25.
