Come out to Dublin Heritage Park and Museums (6600 Donlon Way) on Saturday, October 13, noon to 5:00 p.m., for an afternoon of old-fashioned fall fun with pumpkins, lively bluegrass music, tractor rides, caramel apples, and much more! Participate in hands-on farm activities including harvesting vegetables in the Farm Yard and Hay Play. Children can also try churning butter, pressing apples into cider, doing laundry with a washboard, panning for gold, calf roping, and more!
Farm vendors will sell arts and crafts as well as delicious roasted corn, barbecued chicken, caramel apples, kettle corn, pumpkin pie and hot apple cider. While you’re here, visit the Murray Schoolhouse to see exhibits on Dublin’s immigrant founders, and tour the 1910 Kolb House to see how a true farm family lived. Admission is free. A $5.00 wristband is available for purchase at the event and allows participation at each of the hands-on farm activities as well as the wagon-rides.
