This family-friendly performance is filled with festive dancing, colorful costumes, and vibrant music, including traditional Mexican folk music and witty electronic fusions. The production follows a young woman’s dreams to revive her relatives and friends who all dance back to life in the forms of teetering skeletons, skirt-swishing girls, a high flying deer dancer, and a ghostly Bride and Groom. Audience members are encouraged to attend in Day of the Dead attire and arrive early to participate in the Dia de los Muertos festivities in the theater lobby prior to the performance.
This performance is sponsored by the City of Dublin and is part of the City's Memorandum of Understanding with the Dublin Unified School District that grants the City use of the Dublin High School Performing Arts Center for a certain number of dates per year.
