[ARCHIVED] Dublin Heritage Park and Museums Construction Update

Over the next few months the relocated Kolb Family Ranch Buildings will be renovated for City programming and public use.

The Main House will be a museum and archive facility, the enclosed barn, which was Dublin’s first Sunday School Room, will now serve as a classroom and performance venue; the original house will serve as the park restroom facility and a small arts & crafts studio, and the hay barn will be used as a shade structure and outdoor learning facility. In addition to the Ranch Building reconstruction the first phase of the park will feature large informal turf areas, picnic areas, walking paths and formal gardens around the main house.

The City anticipates that the first phase of the Historic Park should be open in late spring of 2011 with a Dedication Ceremony and family activities scheduled to show off the new buildings and park.
