[ARCHIVED] Measure BB Discretionary Funding Approved for Two City of Dublin Projects

On April 27, 2017, the Alameda County Transportation Commission approved Measure BB Discretionary Funding for the following two projects in the City of Dublin:


1. Dublin Boulevard – North Canyons Parkway Extension Project.  This project will extend the existing Dublin Boulevard in the City of Dublin to North Canyons Parkway in the City of Livermore.  The City received $8.288 million for the detailed design phase of the project.  Currently, this project is in the preliminary engineering phase along with the development of an EIR (Environmental Impact Report), and this phase of the project is expected to be completed by Summer 2018.


2. The City received $1.3 million for the design and environmental review for a bridge on Iron Horse Trail Crossing at Dublin Boulevard.  Recently, a Feasibility Study was completed for the trail improvements, and a bridge crossing at this location was recommended.
