[ARCHIVED] Help Name Dublin's Newest Parks

The City of Dublin is seeking input from Dublin residents on the names of two new parks planned for the Positano Development.

The first park, currently in the design stages, is a 4.6+/- acre park bordered by Valentano Drive, Latari Street, and Montese Drive. It backs up to open space and gently rolling hills.

The second park is a 5.0+/- acre park bordered by Positano Parkway, Via Veneto Drive, and E. Cantara Drive. It is adjacent to a future elementary school, yet to be named.

The following general guidelines may be helpful in determining names for the parks.
• Name reflects the geographic location of the facility (neighborhood/development, major street or regional area of the City)
• Name reflects a prominent form of topography, or a prominent plant, bush or tree
• Name reflects the history of the area (family name of the builder or person donating the land)
• Name recognizes a significant contributor to the advancement of the City (former Mayor, Councilmember, Board/Commission Member, etc.)

Please click the survey link below to give us your suggestions. The survey will be available online through April 10. Suggestions can also be made by calling the Parks and Community Services Department at (925) 556-4500.
