[ARCHIVED] Preparing for a Winter Storm - Sandbags Available for Dublin Residents and Businesses

During periods of heavy rain, the City of Dublin will make available sandbags for Dublin residents and businesses (limit 10 per household or business). Sandbags can be picked up from the City’s Public Safety Complex, located at 6363 Clark Avenue, or at the City of Dublin Corporation Yard, located at 5709 Scarlett Court. A sandbag-filling station will also be present in the event that the pallets of sandbags are empty. Public Works will provide a mound of sand, shovels, and bags, so that residents can fill up to 10 bags, if necessary.

During winter storms, Dublin residents are urged to be especially cautious while driving. Reports of flooding or downed trees on public roads can be made to Public Works at (925) 833-6630, or after hours to Police at (925) 462-1212. To report a power outage, please call PG&E at 1-800-742-5002. If you see damaged power lines or electrical equipment, call 911 immediately.
