[ARCHIVED] A Forest for the Future: Adopt a Tree Today and Leave a Lasting Legacy

The City of Dublin's Forest Park will open in late Fall 2025 or early Winter 2026.  Community members are invited to adopt one of 50 pre-selected trees at the new park, with a donation of $1,000, supporting a 10-year recognition period.

A Forest for the Future adoption program is designed to give the community a meaningful way to help grow a lasting legacy in Dublin’s Forest Park. Through the program, any individual, family, business, or community group can adopt one of the specially designated trees, each marked with a personalized marker, becoming part of the beginning of a forest that will flourish for generations to come.

Each adoption includes:

  • Long-term recognition of a tree within Forest Park
  • A personalized plaque/marker installed near the tree
  • Recognition on the City’s GIS mapping system
  • An invitation to possible future Forest Park events
  • A digital Certificate of Adoption
  • City-managed tree care

For more information about the program and maintenance of the trees, please contact the Parks and Community Services Department at (925) 556-4500.
