[ARCHIVED] Amador Valley Industries' Textile Recycling Pickup to Take Place in April

Do you have worn out bedding, towels, or clothing that you need to dispose of?  Amador Valley Industries (AVI) will collect textiles from Dublin residences for recycling, April 7-11.  Contact AVI at 925-479-9545 at least one full week ahead of the collection event to schedule your pickup.

Textiles must be placed in a clear plastic bag and set out on the curb by 6:00 a.m. on the day of your scheduled textile collection.  Bags must be visible at the curb. Do not place textiles on or behind your trash carts.  Textiles will be collected by a separate driver who may service your block earlier or later than your regular trash pickup.

If you are a resident of a multi-family complex, please contact your property manager to schedule a pickup with AVI.

Acceptable items are clothing, shoes, stuffed animals, bedding, and towels.  Wet or moldy textiles or those that contain blood, human biowaste, or toxic chemicals are not allowed.

Curbside textile recycling events take place during the first full week of January, April, July, and October.
