The California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) has awarded Dublin Police Services with a $24,800 grant for a new electronic crash and citation data reporting system. This new system will allow faster and more efficient reporting of crash and citation information. The grant program runs through September 2025.
Thanks to this grant, Dublin Pollice we will be able to upgrade their traffic crash and citation reporting system to further a data-driven strategy that concentrates on high-priority traffic resource areas. "Improved reporting of crashes helps inform where we conduct education and enforcement measures, enhancing safety on our community's roads,” said Dublin Police Captain Miguel Campos.
Grant funding for this program was provided by the California OTS, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
