[ARCHIVED] Dublin Police Services to Host the 3rd Annual "Trunk or Treat" Event

Dublin Police Services invites the community to participate in the third annual "Trunk or Treat" event on Saturday, October 26, 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Emerald Glen Park (4201 Central Parkway).  This fun, Halloween-inspired event will provide a safe alternative to door-to-door trick or treating. Dressing in Halloween costumes is highly encouraged.

Dublin Police, California Highway Patrol (CHP), Alameda County Sheriff's Office (ACSO) Airport Police, Corrections, Transportation, K-9, Dispatch, and UAV (unmanned aircraft vehicle) units, Dublin Rotary, Livermore Valley Transportation Authority (LAVTA), the City of Dublin's maintenance contractors (MCE), and City of Dublin representatives will decorate their vehicles in the spirit of Halloween and provide treats to children of all ages.

Food vendors will also be on site, and a family-friendly movie, "The Addams Family 2," will play on an outdoor screen. Guests should bring blankets and low-back chairs in order to watch the movie.  Dublin Police are seeking donations of Halloween candy in order to serve the thousands of children expected at the Trunk or Treat event.  If you can help, please drop off bags of Halloween candy at Dublin Police Services at 6361 Clark Avenue, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., prior to the event.
