After-School Recreation & After-School LEAD

After-School Recreation and After-School LEAD - 2025-2026 School Year

The City of Dublin’s After-school Recreation programs promote positive youth development and supports the childcare needs of families in Dublin. After-school Recreation is for children in first to fifth grades and is offered at Amador, Cottonwood Creek, Dougherty, Dublin, Frederiksen, Green, Kolb, and Murray elementary schools. The program provides students with both outdoor and indoor activities and games to keep them active daily. The program allows students to partake in arts and crafts, keep their brains working with a variety of STEM activities, play with a collection of board games, and provides a quieter space to work on homework or read a book during “Rec Rotations.” Each school site is supervised by Recreation Staff with leadership training and certification in First Aid and CPR. After-school Recreation runs from school dismissal until 5:45 PM, including minimum days. Please note: After-school Recreation does not operate on school holidays or any other non-school day.

The After-School Recreation Program and the Middle School After-School Leadership, Experience, and Development (LEAD) Program will operate at each elementary school site for the 2025-2026 school year.  We are excited to announce the adoption of ePACTNetwork, a health and safety software to better support all of our members and make it easier to submit critical data securely. Once registered, you will receive an email invite within 24 hours with instructions to create an account with ePACT.
