Dublin Pride Week is an annual community event to celebrate and inspire Dublin residents to give back to their City. Check out the activities and workshops below that are being offered this year. 



Free Compost Pickup -
SOLD OUT

The City has once again partnered with Amador Valley Industries (AVI) to offer Dublin residents free compost.  Compost will be available for pickup on Saturday, May 1, from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  Advanced registration required to confirm an appointment time.  Call 925-557-1091 or email psc-appointments@answerquick.com.  Appointments must be made by April 23, and you will receive a confirmation card in the mail that you must bring with you on May 1.  Two bags on compost per customer max.  Pick up location is 5601 Arnold Road. 



Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off

The City has once again partnered with Amador Valley Industries (AVI) to offer Dublin residents the opportunity to discard Household Hazardous Waste (HHW). HHW can be dropped off on Saturday, May 1, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Backup Battery Storage Programs 

EB community energy

East Bay Community Energy (EBCE), our local community choice energy provider, launched the Resilient Home program to serve its customers in Alameda County. EBCE has partnered with SunRun to provide pre-negotiated pricing for rooftop solar, with or without battery storage. Resilient Home offers an additional $1250 incentive if homeowners enroll their battery with EBCE, sharing power during peak times when there isn’t an outage.


20th National Prescription Drug Take-Back

Dublin Police Services will once again be offering the prescription drug take-back event.  This will take place on Saturday, April 24, at Dublin Civic Center, 100 Civic Plaza.  Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m..   Prescription pills, tablets, capsules and other solid forms of prescription drugs will be taken no questions asked.  Intravenous solutions, injectables, and syringes will not be accepted.


Nature in Our Backyard Photography Contest
Calling all nature photographers! The 2021 photography contest is now live! Submit your creek, wildlife, and natural park photographs taken in Dublin between April 2020 and April 2021.
 
Winners  will receive a gift certificate from Mike’s Camera, recognition from the City, and a metal print of their photograph.  Click the link in the left menu for more information.
