Make Your Community Better!

Dublin Pride Week is an annual community celebration around Earth Day to celebrate and inspire Dublin residents to give back to their city.  Along with a large volunteer day that combines the efforts of several hundred resident volunteers to complete beautification projects around the city, several other planned events and activities take place to promote environmental stewardship further.

Thank you for participating in the 2025 Dublin Pride Week. Stay tuned for next year's activities which will be available in early 2026.

Dublin Pride Week Activities

Senior Center Volunteer Bag Stuffing Party

Join us for a special event where our senior community members can come together to create swag bags for our Volunteer Day volunteers! This is a great way to get involved with Dublin Pride Week while socializing with your peers. Complimentary pastries and coffee will be provided for all volunteers.

Dublin Pride Volunteer Day

Dublin will hold its annual Dublin Pride Volunteer Day on Saturday, April 26, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., at Emerald Glen Park. This event will provide a variety of volunteer opportunities for the community to give back to their city by cleaning up parks and trails; planting trees; and more. Register today.

Watch your mailbox for more information on the event.

Children's Emergency Food Bank Food Drive

Each year, as part of the Dublin Pride Week Celebration, the City partners with the Children's Emergency Food Bank to host a food drive.  Food donation receptacles will be available at various City facilities, including the Dublin Library, Civic Center, Shannon Community Center, and The Wave during Dublin Pride Week.

Compost Giveaway

Dublin residents will be able to take home one bag of FREE compost on Dublin Pride Volunteer Day. The compost is made from Dublin residents’ yard trimmings and food scraps. This is a great way to see how Dublin’s food waste journey is cyclical and directly benefits the community!  This is a drive-through event in the parking lot of Emerald Glen Park, off of Gleason Drive.  Limit one bag per household; ID or proof of residency is required.

Prescription Drug Take-Back/Document Shredding/E-Waste Collection Event

Dublin Police Services held its bi-annual Prescription Drug Take-Back event at Dublin Civic Center on Saturday, April 26, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Only prescription pills, tablets, capsules, and other solid forms of prescription drugs are accepted, no questions asked. Intravenous solutions, injectables, and syringes are not accepted. An e-waste collection and document shredding truck will also be available at the event.

Join us in contributing to these community efforts and demonstrate your pride in our community throughout the entire year.
