Human Services is managed by the Assistant City Manager and is supported by staff in the Parks and Community Services Department in order to carry out to the following activities:
Overseeing and administering the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and the Human Services Grant programs
Supporting the Human Services Commission
Collaborating with local and regional agencies
2022 Eastern Alameda County Needs Assessment
The Cities of Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton are soliciting the services of a qualified consultant to conduct a comprehensive Needs Assessment evaluating the Tri-Valley’s human service delivery network and to provide an implementation plan for the region and additionally for the local jurisdictions as defined in the Scope of Services and Deliverables.
The City of Pleasanton (Pleasanton) will act as the contracting agent for all services provided through this solicitation and will function as the point of contact for all questions related to this solicitation, the selection process, and the awarding of the contract. Pleasanton will hold the consultant contract. The consultant shall work with the designated representatives from each City.
The Human Services Pocket Guide is a joint effort by the cities of Dublin, Livermore, and Pleasanton to accumulate known resources into one handy pocket-sized guide. The Pocket Guide provides information on resources for basic human service needs such as food; shelter; healthcare; developmental and physical disability; education and employment; etc. The Pocket Guide is available in English and Spanish.
