People of the Parks - Clean & Green Business

Calling all Dublin businesses! The People of the Parks program is excited to introduce the Clean & Green Business program. Any business that registers for the Clean & Green component and completes the quarterly tasks listed below will receive city-wide recognition, including a Clean & Green sticker to acknowledge their commitment to maintaining the cleanliness of our community!

Please Note: The Clean & Green Business component is for businesses operating in the City of Dublin. Groups and non-profits are encouraged to register for the People of the Parks Groups & Organizations component

Businesses enrolled in the Clean & Green component must remain in good standing with the Community Development department (i.e. no active code violations), and must complete the following quarterly checklist:  

1. Maintain Business Site: Regularly monitor the conditions at and around your businesses location and report any issues to the appropriate entity to ensure that the area remains safe and pleasant for everyone.

  • Monitor the condition of the area.
  • Report any issues such as graffiti, vandalism, or needed repairs to the City or property manager/owner, as appropriate.

2. Promote the Program: Use social media/online platforms to share your business’s involvement in the program, raising awareness and encouraging others to help keep the City clean.

  • Consider sharing your participation on social media.
  • Display the Clean & Green Business signage award and any provided promotional materials at your business. 
  • Share photos with the City for recognition and promotional purposes.

3. Conduct a Clean-Up Event: Organize one or more clean-up sessions at or around your business to pick up litter and maintain the area, keeping the environment clean and fostering community spirit.

  • Schedule and conduct a clean-up event at or around your business.
  • Ensure participation of employees and/or volunteers.
  • Collect litter and dispose of it properly.
