Concept designs for a future 8.75-acre park adjacent to the Wallis Ranch Community are now underway. Input from residents was collected through an online survey, which garnered nearly 1,100 responses, along with community meetings held in March and April. That feedback is being used to incorporate additional facilities, which will go into three conceptual design alternatives being developed by Callendar Associates. Planned features of the park include lighted tennis courts, pickleball courts, a dog park, and public restrooms. The recreational facility will span across three parcels of land along Rutherford Drive, bisected by Tassajara Creek.
On June 5, the City held an in-person community meeting at the future park location, where residents can review and provide input on the three proposed concepts.
