The City of Dublin is moving from an at-large election system to a district-based system, where the city will be divided into separate districts of equal population. This in-person workshop will be held for residents to provide input on the district-drawing process. Participants will learn how to draw maps that create four separate districts that keep "communities of interest" together. All draft maps submitted will be presented to the Dublin City Council for consideration and discussion at two Public Hearings prior to final adoption. Public mapping tools are now available to assist the public in drawing maps. There are different tools for different purposes and for different levels of technical skill and interest. Visit www.dublin.ca.gov/dublindistricts to access the mapping tools.
