Sing, Move, and Read Together is a program for children that are walking to age 36 months. As your child’s first and best teacher, we invite you to come and participate in activities with your child. Join us for singing, stories, fun with rhythm, and creative play. S.M.A.R.T. is a cellphone-free zone. For the safety of all children, please do not bring food to the program.

Join us for a new early literacy program for non-walking babies.
This program is for babies that are not yet walking. We will look at a few short books, practice a lot of rhymes and bounces, and learn some fun new songs. Stay and play will follow the 20 minute program, giving caregivers and babies a chance to socialize.
This program is limited to the first 20 baby/caregiver pairs in line.

Free legal assistance is provided by a volunteer lawyer. The attorney will consult to define your problem, advise you of your options, get you started with a solution, and make a referral when needed. Sign-ups begin one week before the lawyer's appearance. Advance registration is required, and there are limits and conditions to each appointment. You will need to bring any paperwork pertaining to your case when you come to see the lawyer. This free consultation is not intended to, and does not establish, a continuing attorney/client relationship. The volunteer attorney can only provide brief consultation and referrals (as necessary). The volunteer will not represent you in any matter. If you agree to these terms, you may ask to sign up at the Information Desk or call 925-803-7252 when the library is open.
