Fall into Fun at the City of Dublin's Annual Harvest Fair!

Join the City of Dublin for an afternoon of old-fashioned fall fun at the annual Harvest Fair, on Saturday, October 7, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., at Dublin Heritage Park and Museums.

Bring the kids and enjoy some of your favorite fall foods in addition to activities such as a pumpkin ring toss, hay bale maze, pumpkin golf, face painting, apple crate toss, pumpkin decorating, gold panning, calf roping, and more.   Local bluegrass musicians, East Bay Grass and Tyler Gene, will provide lively music, while farm vendors will sell arts and crafts as well as delicious fall foods.

At 10:00 a.m., a new public art piece, "The Junction," by artist Brian Keith, will be dedicated and unveiled at the northeast corner of Heritage Park.

Visitors can also tour the 1910 Kolb House and learn what it was like to live as a farming family in the early part of the 20th Century.  The Murray Schoolhouse will also be open, where you can see many exhibits on Dublin's immigrant founders.

Admission to the event is free, but attendees can purchase activity wristbands for $10 per person at the event or $5 in advance at www.dublinrecguide.com.  Tickets for the wagon rides will be sold at the event for $2 per person for those who have not purchased an activity wristband.
