Dublin Unified School District

The Dublin Unified School District serves over 12,300 students, from preschool through adult education, in a diverse suburban environment.  The district is comprised of seven elementary schools, two middle schools, one K-8 school, one continuation high school, and one comprehensive high school.

The Dublin Unified School District mission is to educate every student to become a lifelong learner by providing a safe and supportive environment that fosters collective responsibility for each student's success.

The District and its schools have been recognized with numerous accolades, including the Advanced Placement Honor Roll, National Blue Ribbon School, Gold Ribbon Award, Project Lead the Way Distinguished School, California School of Character, National School of Character, Educational Results Partnership Honor Roll, California Distinguished School, and Title 1 Academic Achievement Award School.

Dublin High School is renowned for its signature programs, including the Engineering Academy, which prepares students to succeed in a post-secondary engineering program; the Biomedical Academy, which prepares students for a post-secondary education in biomedical sciences; and the Culinary Academy, which prepares students for a post-secondary education in the culinary arts.  

Dublin Adult School (DAS)

Dublin Adult School (DAS) is a growing Adult Education program offered by Dublin Unified School District.  At this time, DAS offers English as a Second Language, Computer, and Citizenship classes.  All new and returning students must register prior to signing up for classes.  Information collected by DAS is used for State funding and accountability purposes and is kept confidential.

Community College

Las Positas College is located in Livermore, just 15 minutes east on Highway 580 from Dublin. In addition to classrooms and laboratories, the campus features unique facilities and programs, such as:
  • Environmental hazardous materials program
  • Horticulture center
  • Self-paced electronics program
  • Theater
  • Vacuum technology center
Student success is fostered through programs and services designed for the development of the whole student, while computers, CD-ROM, soundproof rooms, and group study rooms allow students to do in-depth research, practice musical instruments, and collaborate on complex projects. Evening and weekend courses are offered on campus sites throughout the Valley. Employer-based training (Contract Education) is available on an ongoing basis through the District Office.

Universities


Several excellent universities are located within a 30-minute drive of the City of Dublin, including the University of California at Berkeley, California State University East Bay in Hayward, and Saint Mary's College in Moraga.

Child Care Centers

All of Dublin's elementary schools offer excellent child care programs daily from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for school age children. The program is offered by Extended Day Child Care (EDCC) which leases space from the district. EDCC can be reached at 925-829-4043.
