Sam Osmer - Teacher Aide

Hi, I'm Ms. Sam! I am 22 years old and have been working with the City of Dublin for four years, contributing to both the elementary school and preschool programs.

Growing up in Dublin, I actively participated in various community events during my childhood. My hobbies include reading and spending quality time with my family and friends.

Interacting with preschool kids is something I truly cherish, as I get to witness the development of their young minds during their time with us.

Priyanka Agarwal – Teacher

Hi, I'm Ms. Priyanka. I hold a master's degree in Marketing, and after spending a few years in the corporate sector, I chose to take a break to raise a family. It was during this time that I discovered my deep passion for being around children.

Over the course of nearly six years, I taught at various preschools with diverse teaching approaches in different locations around the world. A few years ago, I relocated to the U.S. and pursued my Early Childhood units.

Joining Shannon Preschool has been an incredible journey, and for nearly three years now, I have cherished each day here. I wake up every morning excited to go to work and help my students bloom as they start their first and foundational year of their academic journey.

Sankari Moorthy – Teacher Aide

Hi, I'm Ms. Sankari. My journey teaching children began in 2018 as an Assistant Teacher. I absolutely love children, and working with kids gives me so much joy. I missed this opportunity when COVID hit the world. I am glad to resume normalcy and be back along with the kids, as this has been my passion for years.

I hold a Bachelor's degree in CS (Computer Science) and have completed eight units of Early Childhood Education. I am very happy to be a part of the City of Dublin Preschool team. My goal is to give children a lovely and safe environment to grow. I desire to connect with children more, understand more, and love more.

Melissa Weakland – Teacher Aide

Hi, I’m Ms. Melissa. I’m a Dublin resident, and my husband and two kids are all graduates of the Dublin Unified School District.

After being a stay-at-home mom and longtime volunteer, I decided to work for Dublin Preschool six years ago. I started out in the three-year-old class and then moved to the Monday to Thursday, four-year-old class with Ms. Erica in 2020.

I truly enjoy working with children and love to see them grow so much during the school year!
