2019 Military Banner Program

In early 2018, the City of Dublin created an annual street banner program to honor local veterans and active duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces. Community members may sponsor an individual banner honoring a service member with a connection to Dublin.

The 2019 banners will be on display between Memorial Day and Veterans Day (May – November), along Dougherty Road between Scarlett Drive and Amador Valley Boulevard.

This year, there are eleven honorees:

  • Chief Petty Officer Kyle Chronister - U.S. Coast Guard
  • Senior Master Sergeant Russell Downie - U.S. Air Force
  • Sergeant Camille Edward - U.S. Army
  • Master Sergeant Norbert James Felix - U.S. Marine Corps Veteran
  • Staff Sergeant Joshua J. Jensen - U.S. Army
  • Lieutenant Commander Terry Lane - U.S. Navy Veteran
  • Sergeant Leann Nobida - U.S. Army Veteran
  • Master Sergeant Josh Sevier - Army National Guard
  • Specialist 4th Class Chris W. Smith  - U.S. Army Veteran
  • Lance Corporal Daniel Van Bonn - U.S. Marine Corps
  • Captain Benjamin Young - U.S. Army
