Housing and Economic Rights Advocates (HERA) is a California statewide, non-profit legal service and advocacy organization who offers information for homeowners who want to protect themselves from foreclosure rescue scams, and homeowners who have been victimized by such scams, to learn about options available to recover their money. HERA offers individual counseling with HERA staff attorneys and/or housing counselors to avoid foreclosure.

In partnership with the Tri Valley Affordable Housing Committee (TVAHC), the Community Housing Development Corporation of North Richmond (CHDC) and the Tri Valley Housing Opportunity Center (TVHOC), Housing and Economic Rights Advocates (HERA) is offering a FREE foreclosure seminar for homeowners (see Press Release).

The seminar is offered for homeowners who want to protect themselves from foreclosure rescue scams, for homeowners who have been victimized, and for homeowners to learn about options available to recover their money. The seminar will also describe options to avoid foreclosure. Individual counseling with attorneys and/or housing counselors will be available on-site.
