Trained radKIDS instructors from Dublin Police Services will teach your child to be a "radKID."  A nationally recognized program for teaching children to respond to a variety of safety situations, radKIDS combines instruction with physical demonstrations and drills.  This fun, activity-based program teaches children personal safety skills while building their confidence and self-esteem.  The 10-hour curriculum covers topics such as: out-and-about safety, bullies, gun safety,  good/bad/uncomfortable touch, internet safety, predator tricks, and calling 9-1-1.  A  portion of each class is dedicated to physical exercises that teach youngsters to "respond to aggression defensively."  Upon completion of the program, students will demonstrate their physical skills in a simulation exercise and will be awarded a certificate from the Dublin Chief of Police.

Students must attend all 10 classes to graduate.
