    Gather your most creative minds and create a scarecrow to represent you, your family, your school or club. Scarecrows will be exhibited outdoors at the "Hands-On History" event on Saturday, October 25, between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

    The park’s rustic barns, cemetery, and historic buildings provide the perfect setting with all of the aromas and sounds of fall on the farm. Live entertainment will fill the air from 1:00- 4:00 PM, as the Dublin Bluegrass Jam Band plays from the Hay Barn. Visit farm animals in the Hay Barn, take a tractor-pulled wagon-ride, play in a hay stack, and stroll through the scarecrow exhibit on the grounds. Tour the 1910 Kolb House and 1850s Murray Schoolhouse. Fall foods, including caramel apples, pumpkin pie, fresh cider, and craft beer will be available for purchase. Enjoy the unique family-friendly experience, “Dr. Solar’s Magical Medicine Show,” presented from his solar-powered gypsy wagon. From the moment the Doctor cranks up the “orchestra,” you will be dazzled by astonishing feats of mentalism, magic and animal acts, all animated with playful, comedic physical antics.

  3. "Antic Witties" from the Stagebridge Theater Company

    The "Antic Witties" are an improvisational troupe with Stagebridge, a Senior Theater Company. Stagebridge Senior Theatre works to fundamentally transform American attitudes towards aging from the traditional image of decline, to a new vision of continuous growth. The "Antic Witties" take you for a fun, spirited, improvised adventure, taking the familiar and turning it on end. Stagebridge’s premiere Improv Troupe is directed by Barbara Scott with Daniel Savio and features the talented, quick-witted Stagebridge actors.

    Volunteers from the Livermore-Amador Genealogical Society (L-AGS) will be on hand to help you start your family history research. Bring whatever information you have regarding the city, town, or place where your grandparents lived in the years 1920, 1930, and/or 1940. If you have a flash drive, please bring it to save found documents. Volunteers will continue to be available each Saturday in October as part of Family History Month.
