This seminar will focus on how the internet can help you publicize your event and make it easier for your audience to find out what's going on. You will learn how to: promote what you've got - an event can attract more lasting business, collaborate with others - increase what your event has to offer and offset some of the burden by getting other businesses involved, feature your calendar - use the internet to publicize, make it easy for your audience to find out what's going on, have fun and promote your event after the fact - display photos or video on your website or social networks, and show people that your events are worth attending. Tools you will learn about: Meetup, Linkedin Groups, Facebook Events, Eventbrite, Zevents, Eventful, PlanCast, EventSpot - Constant Contact event marketing, and FullCalendar.com.
