    We Can Build, We Can Fight: The U.S. Navy Seabees in WWII Dublin: In January of 1943, 150 men enlisted in the U.S. Navy arrived in Dublin, California. Their mission: to build Camp Parks, a Replacement and Recuperation Center, that would service the Navy's Construction Battalions deployed in the Pacific Theater. We Build, We Fight features historical documents and artifacts from the recently acquired Camp Parks Collection. Come explore the significance of Dublin's very own naval base through original uniforms, first person narratives and historical photographs. Discover who the Seabees were, why their motto was "Can do!" and what they did while on base in Dublin.

    Enjoy a special puppet show by Puppet Art Theater. By day Tommy is a mild mannered exotic cheese sales mouse, by night he’s Super Tommy! Join Super Tommy as he battles his arch nemesis, Chaos Kitty and his flunky Ratso the Rat. “Super Tommy” is a great spoof on the super hero genre. Don’t miss it! This special school aged program is for children ages 5 and older.
