Bike to Work Month Challenge: Month of May
Register your company to compete regionally in the month-long bike to work challenge. Visit LoveToRide.net for more information and to register.
Bicycle Commuting Lunch and Learn: May 1, 12-1 PM
Learn the basics of bicycle commuting over lunch. Lunch will be provided for those who register at https://bikeeastbay.org/1Hr. The workshop will be held in the Civic Center Regional Meeting Room.
Family Cycling Workshop: May 5, 1:30- 4 PM
The family that rides together thrives together! Join Bike East Bay's certified instructors for a day of fun games, safety drills, skills building, and a neighborhood ride.
This workshop is for kids who are able to ride a bike and ready to take to the paths and roadways with their parents (suggested grade range 2nd-6th). The Workshop will be at Kolb Elementary School, 3150 Palermo Way. Visit http://BikeEastBay.org/FCW to reserve your spot!
Bike to Work Day: May 10
Thursday, May 10, 2018, is Bike to Work Day! Commute to work by bike instead of driving.
Visit an energizer station for refreshments, t-shirts, and bags filled with giveaways and coupons from sponsors. This year, staff from the cities of Dublin and Pleasanton, the Alameda County Transportation Commission, as well as Hacienda, Dublin Cyclery, and REI Dublin will host the stations.
East Dublin Bart: 6:30-9
West Dublin Bart: 7-9
Bike to Work Day Happy Hour
Celebrate your ride to work with a post work happy hour at Whole Foods in Dublin, 5-7 PM
Community Bike Ride: May 19, 10 AM
Meet at Mike’s Bikes in Pleasanton for and 11-mile bike ride through Pleasanton and Dublin trails. All skill levels welcome.
Bike to Market: May 24, 4- 8 PM
Ride your bike to the Dublin Farmer’s Market at Emerald Glen Park and get $5 in “carrot cash” for use at the market.
