East Bay Energy Watch (EBEW) is a partnership with Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E) and cities in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. The EBEW Business Program provides energy assessments at no cost and no obligation to help you lower your energy usage. If you own a small or medium business in Alameda or Contra Costa Counties than you are eligible for the EBEW Business Program.

PACE Finance Program for Energy Efficiency Upgrades

Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) energy efficiency upgrades include:

  • Heating and Air Conditioning
  • Lighting 
  • Energy Management Systems
  • Windows and Exterior Doors
  • Electric Vehicle Charging Stations
  • Solar Thermal Water Heaters
  • Programmable Thermostats 
  • Solar Reflective Roofing

PACE programs allow property owners to finance the up-front cost of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and water conservation improvements on a property and then pay the costs back over time through a voluntary assessment. Dublin Commercial property owners have the choice to work with Figtree Energy Resource Company, CaliforniaFIRST, Cleanfund Commercial Pace Capital, or AllianceNRG for financing.

Tax Credits

The Federal Tax Credit for commercial renewable energy systems applies to many technologies. This tax credit is applicable to utilities, commercial, industrial, and agricultural sectors. For more information about federal tax credits for commercial systems, click here.

0% On-Bill Financing for Energy Efficiency Upgrades

PG&E offers 0% interest loans for replacing old and worn-out equipment with more energy-efficient models. Loans range from $5,000 to $100,000, with up to five years for repayment. Find out more about the 0% interest loan program.
